Official launch of the MODIFY Project

The MODIFY Project is funded by the Alzheimer's Society and based at UCL. The project has officially launched this July 2019.


Mental health and other psychological therapy Outcomes; their relationship to Dementia Incidence in the Following Years (MODIFY): A data linkage and feasibility project.


We are very excited to share with you that work for the MODIFY project has officially begun on 1st July 2019.

The project is funded for 3 years and aims to test whether successful treatment of depression and anxiety in psychological therapies can reduce risk of dementia.


The MODIFY team is made up of a group of researchers, clinicians, and experts by experience (people affected by dementia, and people who have accessed psychological therapies in the NHS).
